We
have extensive experience with Business Intelligence in the research
information area. We have been doing complex research information
processing, that invoved integration of Czech R&D&I
information system with other data sources (e.g. Web of Science and
Scopus). This presents a notable example of an ETL
(Extraction-Transformation-Loading) process in the research setting.
Complexity here comes from the structural richness of the research
information domain, but the data is not small either: we typically
process millions of records.
